Appearance: Sango has two pairs of clothing she wears. One is the village girl attire which is pink and something close to a kimono, sandals, a blue shawl, and a green apron or skirt. The other clothing she wears most often is her demon slaying uniform with her hair in a high ponytail. When she's in her village girl clothing her hair is in a lower ponytail with a white ribbon tied in her long black hair. With her demon slayer outfit she has hidden blades on her wrists and a katana near her waist.
Personality:
Sango is sometimes quiet and usually withdrawn from the group since she lost her village and fellow demon slayers. She wants to kill Naraku for taking her father and Kohaku away from her. Since her village was destroyed she is afraid of getting close to people because she doesn't want anything else she loves taken from her so she tries not to get close to many people. She is especially afraid of betraying them after what Naraku did when he destroyed her village.
Other than that she can be caring and outgoing. Although she may appear withdrawn she will fight very hard to ensure her friends' safety and fighting is one thing she can do very well. Some may say she's a tomboy with a slight girly side. She also has a bad temper that comes up if Miroku attempts to grope her like he's done many times before. He has often been on the receiving side of one of Sango's many slaps and has also been hit upside the head with the Hiraikotsu.
Background: Sango is a professional demon slayer who used to live in a village with her father, her little brother Kohaku, and other demon slayers. When Naraku destroys her entire village and kills her father and fellow demon slayers she loses everything she ever loved. To make it worse Naraku turned Kohaku into an evil puppet for his evil purposes. After her village was destroyed and her father was killed Naraku attempts to trick her into blaming Inuyasha for the death of her family and the destruction of her village so she'll kill him.
When Naraku's plan failed she ended up joining Inuyasha and the rest of the gang in the fight against Naraku as they collect the remaining shards of the sacred jewel. Her primary goal is to kill Naraku so she can rescue her little brother from his evil influence and save his life.
Abilities: Sango doesn't have many supernatural abilities. She just has the Hiraikotsu and other demon slaying weapons such as a katana, etc.
Hand to hand combat
Weapons: Hiraikotsu,
This boomerang made of purified demon bones is her main weapon in fights. It is thrown to decapitate demons and then returns to it's owner afterwards.
Demon poison
This is used to lure demons away from their hiding places so she can kill them. Sango wears a gas mask when she uses this weapon.
Wrist blades
Blades well hidden on her wrists that she can flip out and use in a battle.
Role Play Sample:
Sango was riding on Kilala's back with her fellow travelers. They were currently in pursuit of a demon that had destroyed many villages. She first heard of this demon when they arrived at the village they were staying at that night. Her Hirikotsu was sercured on her back and she was dressed in her demon slaying attire. "Go faster, Kilala!" she ordered her two tailed feline companion when Inuyasha mentioned he could smell the demon not to far away. He had to be up ahead somewhere. Kagome had even mentioned she could sense sacred jewel shard embedded in various places of it's body after it had destroyed a village but managed to escape from Inuyasha's wind scar. After that dismal failure they returned to the camp and laid out a contingency plan as how to proceed from there and now here they are tailing the demon before it can attack another innocent village.
Kilala growled as they landed. Sango assumed that she could smell the demon too. She landed and turned to face the demon that had eluded them so many times before. She slid down from the feline's back and took off the Hiraikotsu so she could prepare to fling it at her opponent at a moment's notice.
Sango glanced wearily from Inuyasha to the demon as they exchanged hero-villian banter much like the many times they were on Naraku's tail and had information on his whereabouts. "That's enough, Inuyasha. Let's clobber this jerk!" she yelled flinging the Hiraikotsu at the demon. She put as much strength as she could behind it and watched as one of the demon's body parts was decapitated but then reformed and became whole again.
She gasped as the Hiraikotsu came zooming back towards her. "This demon must be one of Naraku's incarnates. I've never seen this one before though." she remarked as she glanced helplessly from one person to the other.
