When Queen Alice (the elected Queen of Wonderland, due to her falling into Wonderland through the mirror portal from her world) passed away on the sick bed that she had been on for years, none other than the rightful heir of the suite throne took her place. The Queen of Hearts shows no true remorse for the "childlike" Queen Alice's death. She had been a Queen that was loved and cherished by her people during her hundred plus years of servitude to Wonderland.
However! With her death came an unexpected turn. Children from the Human world are being sucked into mirror portals on a daily basis now, turning up in Wonderland without any idea how they got there. Their only explanation? "I fell in through my mirror..." and that isn't really an explanation at all now is it? What is causing the children from the Human world to fall into Wonderland? And why is the Queen determined to herd them all up and send them back from where they came? Perhaps someone fears another dethroning in the midst.
And what is this mysterious disease that hurts only those who are of Human blood? No, humans cannot age in Wonderland but they slowly become sick to the point in which they are bed ridden and then perish soon after. Wonderland is not the perfect little place it once was anymore and if you are human blood, your only hope is to escape Wonderland.
