Inuyasha knew it wouldn't be smart to go near the water fall there might be demon, bandits, or something far worse there, that the hanyou couldn't fight off since he was going to be a human. "No, I really don't think we should go. Since I'm gonna be mortal soon. And there might be demons there," He said to the girl. Inuyasha didn't think going to the water would be safe at the moment he was going to be human soon the thing he hated most about being a hanyou other then when his demon half takes over. The hanyou sighed out of boredom "You're better off not staying with me. Bad things always end up happening when I'm human," Which was true Inuyasha would always end up almost dying when he was mortal. He didn't get how Kagome and the other stand it. Humans are so weak.
Inuyasha's doggie ears twitched hearing something behind him ,but the hanyou didn't even brother to look. Instead he just looked back up at the night sky wishing that tonight wouldn't be the night of the new moon ,but Inuyasha knew that was pretty stupid of him. He turn his eyes back to the hanyou girl "When do you turn mortal?" Inuyasha asked. The hanyou didn't mind it if she didn't want to answer the inu hanyou after all they just met a couple hours ago.

When Inuyasha suggested she leave him, she glared up at him very feircely and latched her hands onto his arm.
Clearly, she was not going to abandon a fellow Hanyou, espiclaly one who needed help.
"I turn into a mortal on nights when the moon's cresent moon, when it's waning. So I had my night already. But the place I stayed in that night was so far from here... there's no way we could get there before you turned human." She bit her lip and sighed, griping his sleeve a little tighter. "C'mon, we can't stay here. Too dangerous out in the open." She murmured, gently pulling him to try and lead him out the clearing they were in. Sayuri resisted the urge to cry. If she ahd only been alittle bigger, she could possibly have flew him to a safer place. But she didn't even know if she could lift him for more then two minutes! Let alone hours or so.

Inuyasha just stood there staring at the young hanyou cling on his sleeve. Of course he knew it was dangerous to stay out int the open ,but there was no where to go. And there was no way Inuyasha would spend the night in some mortal village. "You don't think I know that!" Now the hanyou was getting annoyed. The girl was acting like Inuyasha couldn't fight on his own even if he was turning human soon that doesn't mean he couldn't fight. Another sigh came out of the hanyou "So were-" Inuayasha was cut off because at that moment Inuyasha's silver hair turned black, his eyes went brown ,and his claws/dog ears were gone. "Damn it! Why now?!" The hanyou yelled. Inuyasha hated a human it made so weak the hanyou couldn't stand it. Not only that he was really easy to kill in his in his human form.

Sayuri watched Inuyasha's change, knowing how Inuyasha felt about being human... 'Not that it's much better being a hanyou... 'cause no one like you then...' She shook her head and held his hand. "Inuyasha? We can do this, right? Your not mad at me for staying with you, are you?" She asked softly, continuing to walk with the hanyou-turned-human through the dense brush of the woods.

"I don't know if we can do this or not ,but I'm pretty sure we can," Now the poor hanyou had no clue what to do if the two of them were attacked by a demon. If a demon attacked they were boomed. Inuyasha turned his attention back to Sayuri "No. I'm not mad at you," The hanyou answered. He really didn't want to be human ,but of course what hanyou would. "Where are we heading off to anyway?" Inuyasha asked he had no clue where this little hanyou girl was taking him all he knew was they better get there fast.

"It's far, so it may take awhile... but I'm sure the place I stayed in is this way." She said, going abit faster as they came into a more clear path like part of the forest, deer had probably been through this way afew times, leaving a small trail. She looked around when she heard a twig snap, and thinking it might be danger, went faster till they got into more dense cover. Sayuri had to blush in embrassment at what she thought had been a threat. A doe and her twin babies jumpe dout of the dense woods she and Inuyasha just came out of, and had stepped into the path. They froze when the animals saw them. Sayuri sighed and just as she turned to keep going, a sickening sound of something wet being ripped, and growling. She felt somehting splatter her hamakas, and paled. She looked behind her to see a demon ripping at the mother deer(now dead)'s flesh, eating hungerly. The fawns were no where to be seen.
Sayuri grasped Inuaysha's hand tightly and slowly backed away, looking at the ground to try and keep from touching twigs that might snap or anything that would get the demon's attention.

Inuyasha which didn't notice the demon just yet mainly because his back was facing it. "What's wrong?" The hanyou asked still clueless about the demon behind him. Inuyasha didn't wait for a answer the hanyou just deiced to turn to see for himself. "Da-" Inuyasha quickly stopped himself from saying the rest. Now this was just perfect Inuyasha was a mortal right now and there was a great big demon standing in front of them.
The hanyou had no clue what to do it wasn't like he could fight the thing and win. He's demon blade wont even transform for him tonight. Inuyasha hated this feeling he was actually fearing for his life. He didn't even get to say he was sorry to Kagome ,but he wasn't going to do that in the first place.

"Turn around, don't look back, and don't run unless he sees us." Sayuri whispered in the lowest whisper she could muster that the hanyou-turned-human could hear, and continued to try and lead him away. They continued this way for a good few minutes, and as soon as she deemed it, she pulled him into a run. "I dont' think he'll hear us from here, but we need to get as far formt hat thing as we can!" She hissed, stopping for a second to shed off her hamakas(Remember she has a short kimono on, so nothing except pale legs was revealed) and threw them to the side, and continued to run. They were soiled with blood, if she had kept them on, they would be detected very quickly by any demon who could smel deer's blood.

Inuyasha still felt kinda scared from that demon before it had to heared the two of them run away. The hanyou was still looking back at the demon when they were running away. He didn't get why it didn't catch any scent of the two hanyous. "Are we almost there?" Inuyasha asked. By the looks of it he was getting very tried from all the running they had did. He was in his human form after all. {Sorry I can't think}

Sayuri rubbed Inuyasha's hand and whispered a small "yes", panting alittle harself. She was more used to flying then running, but she made a minor note to start working on that sometime. She led him alittle futher until they came to a large group of trees which were all linked togather. She looked aorund cautiously before pulling Inuyasha over, and getting on her knees. "It'll be snug for us, but we'll fit. And it'll keep you warm." Sayuri said, pulling aside a thicket to reveal a hole, just big enough for the hanyou to climb through. She quickly scrambled into it first, and called out. "There's nothing down here. Unless your scared fo spiders." She called in a slightly teasing voice.

Inuyasha was trying to catch his breath. He still didn't know how Kagome and the others could handle being this weak. The hanyou sat down and looked up at Sayuri "Just let me rest for a while before I go in there," Inuyasha said. He looked back in the direction where they came from wondering why the demon didn't hear them or get their scent.
Inuyasha ended up falling over passed out. He was so sleepy he could barley keep his eyes open anymore. This is probably the first time Inuyasha actually fell asleep as a mortal.

Sayuri looked out the hole to see him passed out and sighed. She scrambled out again and gently placed his head in her lap. 'I don't wanna wake him up by moving him... I'll take him inside if I hear or see something like a demon.' She moved around abit so her back was resting agaisnt the tree, he wings unfurled, one gently restign on Inuyasha's shoulders as a sort of blanket. Sayuri rubbed her eyes and kept watch for a good few hours. She almsot fell asleep several times, and even doses for 5 minutes at one point. It had been near morning, maybe an hour or less, but she quickly woke up when she heard something. She turned towards it, and gasped softly when she heard the tell tale sign of heavy foot prints. It was an oni, and it was huge, and it was close! She gently shook Inuyasha to tyr and wake him, and dragged him over, and pushed him down the hole under the tree. She moved to scramble in, but she suddenly heard the trees behind her collapse. She hid the opening and flew away form it very quickly, praying Inuyasha was still asleep, or didn't try to come out.
Sayuri turned and glared at the ugly oni that stood infront of her. "Well, well... if it isn't you." She froze in terror. It was the oni from a few days ago... he had followed her here before. On her human night.
"Get outta here!" She said in a snarl, but her body was visably shaking with fear. Every atom in her body told her to run for it. But she was not going to leave her new friend alone. So she got into the air and flew at hsi face, kickign him in the eyes and nose to get him angry. "Come on, I cna tkae you! Ya over-grown mutant!" She said, flying afew yards away, trying to lure the demon away from the tree.
It was working. The oni was made, and it was quickly lumbering towards her, wiht his massively big/long arms. She flew a little father away from it, only toscream as suddenly, two more hands from behidn ehr grasped her waist and pulled her towards the ground. "NO! Let me go!" She screamed. It was two onis, and they were hungry. "I want the legs, her legs look good.... along with other things." One snarled, licking his lips, and lowere dhsi head to make a small lick at her bare legs. She gasped in shock as the tongue suggestivly went up under her kimono for a moment. She felt a sudden urge swell, and she put two of her fingers togather, she did not noticing that they looked abit more curved and sharp, and wrenched them into the monster's eye, which was close enough for her to reach.
It screamed and let go to cradle his now bleeding and wounded orb as she fell to the ground. She scrmabled ot ehr knees and hands, only to scream in pure pain and horror as one of the oni's feet smashed down on her left arm, she felt tears of pure agony come to her eyes as she heard the bone crack. She was lucky her wings had furled before the oni's foot had stomped down, otherwise, she would've broken her wings so badly bone would've split her flesh open...
She whimpered and sobbed as the first oni swatted the wounded one's foot aside and grasped her around the waist, picking her up. Her broken arm hung like a wet noodle, and more water flowed from ehr eyes at the pain it caused when it was moved so much. "die, little brat." The oni snarled.
Sayuri clenched her eyes shut, waiting for the inevitable as the oni opened his mouth wide, just as the sun peeked through the eastern side of the tree.

Inuyasha was still asleep for about five minutes until he hear all the screaming from outside. The hanyou's eyes open he still was kinda half asleep ,but who wouldn't. Inuyasha put one of his hands of the side of the small hole where he was "How did I get in here?" The hanyou asked himself. He walked out of the small cave and looked around before he saw the demons Oh damn! When the hell did this happen?! Inuyasha thought to himself has he ran to the rescue once again. He didn't even notice yet that he was still in his mortal form until he actually got there. "Hey! Let her go or I'll kill you!" The hanyou yelled, hoping to get their attention away form Sayuri for she can get away.
Inuyasha didn't know how he was going to get himself out of this he was a weak mortal now and these demon look pretty strong in the hanyou's eyes. But it wasn't like he was going to run away when someone need help. Inuyasha ended up taking out his demon blade even thought it wasn't going to be any help to him ,but still he had to try to save this girl. She helped him out so he'll do the same. "Why don't you bastards-" The hanyou stopped himself he couldn't get the demons mad if he did he wouldn't last the night.

Sayuri mad a a sickly noise, very similar to a a bird's cry if it was in a huge amoutn of paina nd tramua, as the demon squeezed ehr, opening hsi mouth wider, but not to eat her but to laugh at the little red clad human below. Sayuri whimpered and reached out wiht ehr uninjuried hand. "D-don't... he won't taste good... he's sickly and thin... please..." She called feebly, trying to get them to revert their attention bakc to her. But only one of them did, the other smirked down at Inuyasha and chuckled evil. "You'll be a good addition to the meal." And he reache dout for Inuyasha, ignoring the rusted blade in Inuyasha's hand. The sun came up alittle further.
Sayuri whimpered as the demon caressed her face with a bony finger. "If only you were alittle older. I could've had more fun with you. But I don't do children." Sayuri felt sick and frightened for Inuyasha and herself, her body quaked and shivered as she clenched her eyes shut again. Her thoughts running along the hope that she'd find her mother when she died, and that of praying Inuyasha would get away and revert in time to save himself.

Inuyasha watched helplessly as the demon reach down to him ,but yet he didn't care. The hanyou ignored the demon and turned his attention to the sky wishing the sun would just hurry up for he could be a hanyou once again. He turned his attention back to the demons "You better let her go now!" Inuyasha yelled out again. But of course he knew that these demons wouldn't listen to a mortal like him. Now the hanyou wished Miroku or Sango was there with him they could have help him out a lot. Or maybe even Kagome. Even if there were in a fight she would do anything just to save the hanyou when he was in trouble. Inuyasha thought about Kagome for a second or two he was starting to miss her.
Inuyasha held his sword even higher "Damn demons! Don't you ever listen!" He yelled again ,but this time he ran at the demon that had Sayuri in his hands. The hanyou hoped the other demons wouldn't attacked him at the moment if they did he was done for.
